I've spent more than 12 years living on, working in, and returning to Maui, including years working in the island's tourism industry. That firsthand experience has given me a deep understanding of Maui beyond the guidebooks, from choosing the right area to stay to knowing how different experiences fit together.
Before becoming a travel advisor, I also worked as an overland tour guide, leading multi-week journeys where every day had to flow naturally from the last. It taught me that a great trip isn't just about seeing the highlights. It's about balancing logistics, pacing, and meaningful experiences so travelers can truly enjoy where they are.
