I'm Bridget, a Maui travel specialist who has spent more than a decade living on, working on, and returning to Maui. Along the way I've worked in the island's tourism industry, explored nearly every corner of Maui, and learned what makes a trip one that is talked about for years to come.
Those experiences shaped how I approach planning today. I believe great travel starts long before you arrive. A well-planned trip gives you confidence before you leave, so once you're in Maui, you can simply enjoy being there.
I founded Maui Tides Travel because I saw how overwhelming planning could become. Endless lists, conflicting advice, and itineraries packed with activities often leave travelers feeling stressed before their vacation even begins.
I wanted to create a planning experience that feels different. One that's personal and centered on helping you experience Maui in a way that feels true to how you love to travel.
My Story
Before launching Maui Tides Travel, I also designed and led multi-week overland tours, where every detail mattered. From accommodations and transportation to daily pacing and unexpected changes, I learned that the best trips aren't the ones with the longest itineraries. They're the ones that feel balanced, flexible, and enjoyable from beginning to end.
Those experiences changed the way I think about travel. I saw firsthand how thoughtful planning can turn a good vacation into one people remember for years, while also supporting the places and communities that make Maui so special.
Maui Tides Travel grew from that journey, bringing together my years on the island, my experience in tourism, and my passion for creating trips that people genuinely enjoy.
What started as a spring break trip to Maui turned into something much more.
I kept coming back year after year until eventually I called the island home. Along the way, I spent time exploring each of the Hawaiian Islands, while living and working in Maui's tourism industry. I got to experience the island from both the visitor's perspective and behind the scenes.
